Migration workshop
Two self-standing 'warm-up' exercises - understanding definitions,
and myths about migrants - could precede a workshop
sequence on topics around migration in the UK and the EU.
The Workshop web pages can also be downloaded as PDF factsheets for pupils to
follow up. The overview linked here provides guidelines for teachers or
workshop leaders, and is also downloadable as a single PDF document (6 pages A4).
A support exercise suggests a rĂ´le-play for an Appeal for Asylum
with two briefings: (1) supporting an asylum-seeker's appeal, and (2) issues for an
interviewing officer investigating the case for appeal.
