News from Europe today, one person was killed and 49 others injured including five seriously in the derailment of a train near Barcelona.
133 passengers some of them part from European movement, were on the train. Several victims told that the driver of the train gave a brutal brake until two of the six cars of the train derailed.
The accident took place in the town of Vacarisses, a village 35 kilometers to the Northwest of the Catalan city.
The train connected the city of Manresa in Barcelona.
A landslide caused by the torrential rains of recent days is the cause of the accident.
